The contract :
These terms and conditions form a legally binding contract between you (the camper) and Wayside Campsite.

The contract is for the provision of temporary camping accommodation only.

The Royal international Air Tattoo or any other event taking place in the area is not part of this contract and does not form any contractual obligation between the campsite and the camper.

By making a booking, you confirm that you accept these Terms and Conditions on behalf of yourself and all members of your party.

In the unlikely event that RIAT is cancelled, our campsite is still capable of operating as we are a completely separate organisation from RIAT. We are not liable to provide full refunds as a result of a RIAT cancellation. As a small family-run business, we incur substantial upfront costs in preparation, including infrastructure, staffing, equipment hire and supplier commitments, many of which are non-refundable. while bookings remain non-refundable in line with our terms and conditions, we will review the situation carefully and, where possible, may offer the option to transfer or credit bookings to the following year, provided that all committed and paid supplier costs associated with the current event are covered. Any such transfer would be at our discretion and subject to availability.

Force Majure:

The campsite shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from events beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to:

War, terrorism, civil unrest, government restrictions, industrial action, flooding, extreme weather, natural disasters, epidemics, public health emergencies, traffic disruption or other similar events.

If such circumstances prevent the campsite from operating and providing accommodation, refunds (if any) will be limited to amounts not already committed to non-recoverable costs reasonably incurred in preparation for the event.

we strongly recommend that all campers obtain appropriate travel or event insurance.

Important: Please be aware that the campsite is nestled amongst parts of the base which means there will be low flying aircraft, in the event of a crash or incident, the campsite organisers are not liable for any claims of death or injury. Campers entering the site controlled by the campsite organisers do so at their own risk -including day visitors.

Because of our location right next to the base, ear protection is recommended as the planes are LOUD.

Please understand that it is very important that campers do not disrupt or obstruct any RAF procedures. Campers are to stay within the campsite unless travelling to and from the base entrance. We advise that campers do not congregate outside any entrances to RAF related sites off of Washpool lane, any incidents that may occur outside of our campsite boundaries are not affiliated with the organisers of Wayside campsite. Campers enter and use the campsite at their own risk.
