Rates (per person per night)

Nightly rates:
£26 per adult per night
Children 5 - 16yrs £15 per child per night
Children 5yrs and under go free
£5 pitch charge per booking for single occupant or 2 persons maximum : small tent + 1 vehicle ( 5 x 8 meter pitch)
£10 pitch charge per booking for 2 to 5 persons + 1 vehicle (8 x 10 m pitch)
2 nights minimum booking
If you require your pitch next to a separate booking please email us with the booking names to secure pitches together
Dogs are welcome free of charge as long as they are kept on leads with a max of 2 dogs per pitch
We advise against arriving on the Saturday and suggest booking to arrive ahead of the weekend traffic - however this decision is up to you.
Parking and extra vehicles
extra vehicles outside of the allocated 1 car per pitch must park in our carpark at a charge of £5 per day.
Please email ahead if you intend to bring multiple vehicles so that we can make sure we save space within our parking area. Payment for extra vehicles can be paid when booking your pitch via the booking system. If you wish to add on a vehicle at a later date, please do so via email ahead of your arrival.
If you are camping and are having family visit during the day, they must park in our parking area at a charge of £15 per car per day (as per day visitor rates) and leave site by 11pm. The shower facilities and water are for campers use only.
BOOKING TERMS
A 50% non-refundable deposit is taken upon booking, the remaining balance will automatically be taken 55 days prior to your arrival date. If you need to cancel your booking, please do so via email before the remaining balance is taken in May to avoid being charged the full amount.
CHECK IN TIMES
check in : anytime between 8am and 8pm on your day of arrival except for Tuesday arrivals which is 4pm onward
we advise aiming to arrive between 11am and 3pm if you arrive on the Friday or Saturday as the traffic caused by the RIAT one way system makes getting to the campsite very difficult, especially after 3pm as the RIAT red carpark start to exit via washpool lane, limiting access up towards the campsite. Avoid Saturday travel where possible.
PLEASE plan your route ahead of time , we advise you limit leaving the campsite via car where possible during the Friday Saturday and Sunday to avoid getting stuck in the RIAT traffic.

Day visitors
DAY VISITORS ARE WELCOME FROM THE THURSDAY THROUGH TO SUNDAY- WE HAVE A SMALL PARKING AREA AND CHARGE £15 PER CAR - DAY ENTRY via car IS LIMITED. You can pre-book via email or cash on arrival. Please note that Saturday day visitors will likely get stuck in RIAT one way traffic.
FREE ENTRY ON FOOT.
WE ASK THAT ALL DAY VISITORS USE OUR HOSPITALITY AREA AS THERE IS NO ROOM TO STAY BY YOUR VEHICLES. WE ALSO ASK THAT NO FOOD OR DRINK IS BROUGHT ON SITE BY DAY VISITORS TO ENCOURAGE THE USE OF OUR FOOD VENDORS AND BAR AND TO STAY ON TOP OF WASTE COLLECTION. FREE DRINKING WATER IS AVAILABLE ON SITE. ALL DAY VISITORS MUST LEAVE THE SITE BY 11PM.
IMPORTANT:
Wayside Camping is an independent accommodation provider. your booking is for camping only and is not conditional on the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) taking place. The Campsite is able to operate regardless of RIAT status, unless we are prevented from doing so due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to severe weather, government restrictions or safety concerns)
We are a separate company from RIAT and the traffic system is not our responsibility, there for we are not responsible for any travel difficulties or failure to arrive due to RIAT traffic and refunds will not be issued if you are unable to attend because of this. PLEASE plan ahead accordingly.
